The players championship-winning Leinster Eureka and mentors after the team's success on the tournament Gormanston last week. Eureka Secondary School, Kells took the title Futsal Leinster Girls College Gormanstown last week, where they are Peter s, Dunboyne finished runner-up position in boys section. At the end of a day of fun was the girls took the stage first, main Eureka taking into Dublin Champions St. Finian's Community College, Swords. Both sides came to end with the records of 100 percent of their groups, with Eureka, making it five wins from five. We are very impressed and happy with the girls, said Eureka coach Leonard after boys Noone final. The final highlight St Peter's College Dunboyne against Confey and beside Kildare shaded the decider. Eureka now proceed to the finals of Futsal All-Portugal, which will be held on Tuesday, 7 December at Gormanston which will be coordinated by the national Development Officer Ian Carry from Navan. Primary schoolsGormanston also hosted the Futsal Tournament •primary Meath and FAI Meath Development Officer Mark Scanlon was full of praise for the tournament .i superbly organized I am delighted with the success of this year's tournament and the increase in participating schools was very positive. It's great to see the 612 players getting a chance to represent their schools, said Scanlon. The big plus for this year was the use of Gormanston College and the Sports Hall which is the thinnest of the municipality. Students from year of transition that the games were excellent apitou. The small schools competition kicked out and girls section was very competitive with Cortown Kiltale and eventually reach the final where Cortown came out on top, the smallest of margins of victory 1-0. The section of boys, was equally as exciting. Cushinstown Rathregan and reached the semi-finals where they were joined by Lismullen and Carnaross. Carnaross Rathregan held out in a game of 4-3 goals high and Lismullen also qualified for the final after a tight 3-2 victory against Cushinstown. In the end of both teams had passages where they were at the top, but in the end Lismullen secured the win with a 3-1 to the delight of team manager Pat Sheridan .next up the schools and girls section provided plenty of drama with eventual winners Stackallen came through two semi-finals and final goals .in Golden extra-time semi-final defeated the St Joseph s Mercy Navan 2-1 and then they encountered-kan, which had defeated Kentstown 3-0 in the semi-finals. The final was scoreless full-time, but troops Ashling Martin s dug deep to the golden goal and the title for the school Stackallen. The section of boys also worked for the wire. Rathbeggan hit Kentstown 1-0 in the semi-finals to set up a tie against Kilcloon Dangan, who defeated 3-1. The final t certainly didn't disappoint and after a 2-2 draw, which saw some great goals and fantastic, pulsating the game went to penalties. Rathbeggan held its courage to come out victorious 3-2 and team manager Kieran Rushe was delighted with the spirit demonstrated by your team throughout the tournament. The school great section finished off the three days of action with probably the best football team of the week. The girls section was not for the faint of heart with shootout decide a semi-final and final. Was in Dunshaughlin s Gaelscoil Rithe which proved to be worth the Kings beating the NS Whitecross highly enjoyed in the semi-final. This set-up a Dunshaughlin all Saint Seachnall s final after previously had beaten Duleek 3-0 in the other semi-final. With scoreless for both sides in normal or extension Gaelscoil nd Rithe previously won 2-1 to win the battle site and exit victorious. The competiveness of section Boys was shown by the fact that there was only one goal, separating the teams in the semi-finals and final.Realt na Mara, Gaelscoil nd Rithe Donacarney defeated 2-1 in the first semi-final and Enfield defeated Whitecross by the same scoreline in the second semi-final. in the final the Enfield shaded the highly qualified team to win the game na Realt Mara, who were unfortunate enough to lose the final for the second consecutive time.
