Opportunity to shine in futsal

Children will be given chances to show their skills with a mini-futsal League for four weeks from Barrow.

InsideOut Soccer will be running the competition five-a-side interior for under-eights, under-nines and tens of teams at school Chetwynde Municipal sports.

Games will be played on Saturday December 22 and 29 and 5 and 12 February. The under-eights will start at 9 h, the under-nines at approximately 10: 30 and under 10s at approximately noon.

Entries can be made by existing teams – i.e. Junior football teams – or groups of individuals who want to try the game futsal.

Each League will contain a maximum of eight teams and each team will play seven games 10 minutes along the four weeks – two games in the first three weeks and a game of the weekend.

All children participating in the under-eights competition will receive a certificate of achievement, and the winners of under-nines and alloys under 10s will receive medals.
