The event was conceived for three age groups--15, u-18 and 18 and above.
Event Co-ordinator of organizers Stadia5, Faris Al Mudaffer, said: "we have a very strong platform to promote Futsal. We believe that it is a very special part of the development of football.
"As you can see the Spain, Japan and other countries have developed programs of Futsal who helped improve technical capacity over the years."
It is expected that a total of 60 teams participate in the tournament.
Wosim Tahan, Stadia5 partner, said: "we are expecting a huge crowd. We were told about 7000 people become (at the mall). "
The tournament will be played in a round-robin basis followed by a knock-out phase.
Rashid Al Kamali, Director of Marketing and promotion, Dubai Sports Council (DSC), said: "the reason we support this event is because of the separate categories of age and why Dubai Sports Council is want to encourage this event.
"We want more people to come and participate in sporting activities and develop a lifestyle in Dubai sports since the tender age. A program is also being developed for women, because football is very popular. "
